More About Jessica…
Jessica is a Nebraska native and has lived in the Panhandle since 2007. She spent three years in Lincoln Nebraska while she attended the University of Nebraska College of Law.
Prior to attending Law School, Jessica worked for the City of Kimball as a Police Officer, and this is where her passion for the Western Nebraska lifestyle began. Her experience working for the City also sparked her interest in politics, and the issues facing rural Nebraska.
During Law School it became even more clear that Lincoln politics do not work in the small towns of the west, often referring to Grand Island and Kearney as “Western Nebraska” and rarely referring to Scottsbluff and the other western cities and towns at all.
After Law School, Jessica continued working in the public sector taking a position as a Deputy County Attorney in Scotts Bluff County.
Although she has now transitioned to Private Practice working alongside Mr. Robert M. Brenner at his law office in Gering Nebraska, she has not lost her passion for advocating for the community.
Jessica has a unique perspective as a former county employee and has worked with most county departments and their Department Heads.
